Detailed description
The house of F.V. Kranksen, the building of the printing house of E. Thiele, is located near the St. Petersburg State University Studio Theater. The building was built in 1900 in the Art Nouveau architectural style. It is a four-storey red brick building with arched windows, covered balconies and an attic. Currently, the building houses the Scientific Research Institute of Porcelain and Faience Industry. The house is classified as a national heritage site.
