Pathum Khongkha Temple
Detailed description
Wat Pathum Khongkha in Chinatown is a small temple built during the Ayutthaya period, but once served an unusual, rather sinister purpose. It was used as a place of execution for members of the royal family in the early Rattanakosin period. Several members of the church from the first and third reigns were buried on the execution stone in the temple.
