Detailed description

The temple contains impressive Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian shrines and was built in 1872 when it was called Wat Leng Nui Yi. Then King Rama V changed the name of the temple to Wat Mangkon Kamalawat - which means Dragon Lotus Temple.
