Detailed description

The monument is located at the base of the Rama VIII Bridge. The statue was built in 2012 during the reign of King Rama IX. The statue is the largest monument to King Rama VIII. The statue has a height of 5.4 meters. The king is depicted standing in the form of a field marshal. The right hand holds the royal scepter, and in the left - a sword.
