Egorov Trading House
Detailed description
The two-storey mansion with an ornate facade was built at the end of the 19th century. Stuccoed terracotta walls with white decor, patterned stones with garlands above the window openings and the entrance. On the second floor, the windows are framed by half columns and flower rosettes. The walls between the windows are decorated with bas-reliefs with flowers, vases, and fruits. There was a grocery store on the ground floor, and Alexey Egorov's family lived on the second floor. In 1919, the house was nationalized. The first floor housed a deli, the second floor was given over to communal apartments, which were later resettled.
