Detailed description

The two-storey mansion, located in the center of Moscow, was built in the early 19th century and remains virtually unchanged to this day. In the period from 1826 to 1830, the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, Major General Denis Davydov, lived in this house. The mansion has value as a cultural object of federal significance. Its central part ends with a mezzanine with a low triangular pediment. The two sides on the ground floor were faced with rustication. Three windows on the second floor are decorated with sandalwood. Currently, Denis Davydov's house belongs to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
