Mpvo Leningrad

A monument dedicated to the female soldiers of the Leningrad Front. It was opened on May 7, 2002 and is located at the firewall 12 building on Lenin Street. The author of the project was architect Ivan Dmitrievich Matveev. The memorial has a synthetic character, which combines in its composition the technique of sgraffito and the image of a woman cast in bronze. The sculpture also has a backlight, which creates expressive shadows on the facade of the house.
