Benoit House
Detailed description
The building is also known as the "House of the Three Benois". The architectural style in which this apartment house is made is neoclassicism. In addition to the Benoit brothers, architect Alexander Ivanovich Gunst took part in the project. The construction of the building was planned in April 1911, and in 1912 the house was already fully finished. The building looks elegant, graceful and impressive and has three addresses at once. Since 1991, a branch of the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg has been located in the building, and the Ostrov Theater, as well as the museum of writer and playwright Alexander Moiseevich Volodin, gives performances from Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt.
