E.G. Shvedersky's apartment house
Detailed description
32 house was built on the corner of Bolshaya Pushkarskaya Street and Kamennostrovsky Avenue in 1898-1900 according to the project of architect V. P. Zeidler. The facade cladding is made of yellowish brick. Since the 1880s, the site on which this building was built and the territory of the nearby squares belonged to State Councilor Karl Karlovich Nellis, merchant of the 1st guild and owner of the Nellis and Frieze carriage factory. In 1900, Nellis sold the corner plot to hereditary honorary citizen E. G.Shvedersky.
