Church-Chapel of St. Andrew the First-Called
Detailed description
The church is the first temple of the Pacific Fleet, and it was he who decided to build it in 2003. A year later, the laying of the stones was consecrated, and the construction of the chapel began. The architects were students of the Architectural Institute led by Professor V. Moore and the Design Institute of the Ministry of Defense.
In 2005, the chapel was consecrated by Archbishop Veniamin of Vladivostok and Primorsky.
The temple consisted of a single dome and was installed on the embankment near the memorial complex "Glory of the Battle of the Northern Pacific Fleet", accommodating 40-50 people. A number of military and church-themed icons are on display in the church.
