A lady's whim
Detailed description
In ancient times, there was a large stone on the site of the bridge. He helped local residents and guests of the city to cross the riverbed of the Olkhovka river. Around 1892, the first bridge was built at the foot of Romanovskaya Hill. The author of this landmark was Yakov Grigorievich Lukashev, the chief architect of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. Originally, the bridge was called "The First". Five or six years later, the name was changed to Ladies' Caprice. In 1960, it was decorated with stone abutments and an openwork fence. The bridge "Ladies' Caprice" still has a romantic look. There is a belief that if you make a wish while standing on the bridge, it will definitely come true.
