Detailed description
The apartment building was built according to the design of civil engineer Peter Nikolaevich Batuev in 1912. The owner of the house, Mikhail Mikhailovich Yalovnarov, equipped a locksmith workshop in it. The house is typical of the Northern Art Nouveau. The six-storey rectangular building has a basement and trapezoidal bay windows. Through the arch in the center of the building you can get to the courtyard-well. The interior has preserved historical staircases with mosaic steps in the front and wrought-iron fences with floral ornaments. In the 1950s, elevators were added to the walls of the house. At the beginning of the 20th century, apartments were rented out. It is now an apartment building.
