Ebeling House
Detailed description
The first owner of the house was Prince A.M. Golitsyn. The three-storey building, which has survived to this day, was erected in 1803 for the life surgeon Ebeling. A classmate of A. S. Pushkin, the poet Anton Alexandrovich Delvig, lived there for a year. And at the end of the 19th century, the poet Alexei Nikolaevich Apukhtin lived here, who was often visited by composer P. I. Tchaikovsky. In 1917, the apartment was owned by Peter Nikolaevich Wrangel, who went down in history as one of the icons of the white movement and the counterrevolution. Now the building houses residential buildings.
