Apartment house Sh.-H.L. Fridlyand
Detailed description
The building is a monument of architecture and urban planning of the late 19th century. In his childhood and youth, Soviet nuclear physicist Georgy Nikolaevich Fleurov, who is one of the creators of the first Soviet atomic bomb, lived in this house. The house fits perfectly into the general landscape of a busy street, as it is located on a corner in a place where the historical buildings, with rare exceptions, have been preserved. Recently, the house was included in the list of important regional cultural heritage monuments and is under official state protection.
