TSU History Museum
Detailed description
The TSU Historical Museum was founded in 1984, but the formation of the Museum Fund began back in the 1950s, when the V.V. Kuibyshev Museum was operating. In total, the museum's collection includes about 10,000 objects, most of which are original documents and photographs, books and objects by famous TSU scientists, awards and gifts to the university. All collections are organized thematically and chronologically and contain a large number of personal collections, especially of professors and students. The museum also has a library. The museum's materials are also widely used by students and staff for their scientific work. In 1996, the museum was provided with facilities for permanent exhibitions. They reflect the history of Tomsk State University.
