Demut Hotel
Detailed description
The house was built in 1876-1877. The building is a five-storey building with a high basement made of stone, painted cream. Previously, the building belonged to the Demuta Hotel. The building is popular because famous Russian writers A. S. Pushkin, A. S. Griboyedov, P. Ya. Chaadaev, I. S. Turgenev stayed in it. According to legend, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin wrote the poem "Poltava" here. There is currently a hotel in the building.
