Dutch Church House
Detailed description
The Dutch Church House became the first stone building on Nevsky Prospekt, its architect was Pavel Petrovich Zhako. The building was built in 1838. Today, some departments of the city's public library are located here. The house on Nevsky Prospekt is decorated with a portico of four columns in the center. In a triangular frame there is a high relief depicting two angels and an open Bible in their hands. The landmark is located at the corner of Nevsky Prospekt 20 and the embankment of the Moika River 44 in St. Petersburg.
