Chicherin's House - The House of the Eliseev Merchants
Detailed description
Since 1768, the owner of the site, with a residential building built on it, became the police Chief General N. I. Chicherin. The interior was decorated in the style of early classicism. In 1810, a stone building was added to the building. In 1858, the Yeliseyev merchants became the owners of the mansion. In the same year, the building was rebuilt. The windows were changed from oval to rectangular. The columns were removed on the top floor and pylons were installed. In 2005-2010, the building was completely renovated.
