The palace complex is located on the banks of the Neva River in the historical center of St. Petersburg. It was built in the first half of the 19th century by order of Emperor Alexander I in the "classicism" style and was one of the main symbols of the power of the Russian Empire. The facade of the building is decorated with columns, pilasters, bas-reliefs and sculptural compositions. Inside the palace, you can see luxurious halls decorated with marble, bronze, gold and expensive fabrics. Nowadays, the Novo-Mikhailovsky Palace is one of the most popular venues for cultural events. Concerts, exhibitions, theatrical productions and much more are held in its halls.
