Detailed description

The mansion on the Palace Square was built at the end of the XVIII century. The owners of the mansion were such famous people as Count Apraksin and Prince Radziwill. Over the course of two centuries, the building has been constantly changing its appearance. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building acquired its final features. Architect N.T. Stukolkin became the author of the project. After the reconstruction, the mansion is transferred to the ownership of the English club. After the Great Patriotic War, the facades of buildings No. 12, No. 14 and No. 16 underwent reconstruction and now look like one whole building.
