Relics of St. Matrona of Moscow

The relics of the saint are in the church of the Pokrovsky Convent. The main shrine rests in an ornate shrine, mounted on a pedestal under a solemn canopy. The gilded ark has a glass lid and is decorated with the image of a Matron and floral ornaments surrounded by a large number of fresh flowers. The carved pedestal at the corners is decorated with the faces of angels, in the center is an Orthodox cross in an ornament. It is advised to come to the relics with an odd number of flowers, which are distributed to the faithful after the consecration on the relics.
