P.A. Kochubey's Mansion
Detailed description
The building was built in 1858. The owners of the house were the Naryshkin family. Then it was transferred to the residences of tsarist military ministers V. A. Sukhomlinov (1900-1915) and A. A. Polivanov (1915-1916). After the revolution, the building was given over to the military commissariat and its Political Administration. Then it was placed under the Admiralty District Council. Today, the mansion is combined with a neighboring house (the Saltykova mansion) and is leased to various shops, workshops and organizations. Kochubey's mansion has semicircular windows, a two-story building on a basement, and a monument of architecture and urban planning of federal significance. It is in excellent condition.
