Kokui Tower

Kokui is a rectangular, impassable tower in the southwestern part of the Novgorod Citadel, which differs from other towers in its unique shape and height. The tower has a base area of 8.5×10.4 meters. The height of the tower with a dome is 38.5 meters. The Spasskaya Tower and the view of the Palace Tower are depicted on the Russian 5-ruble bill. In 2012, two 60x telescopes were installed at the observatory.
