A.V. Kuznetsov's mansion
Detailed description
The beginning of the estate's history dates back to the 1820s, when the main house was built in the Empire style of wood. In 1915, the famous architect Alexander Kuznetsov bought the estate for his family and made significant changes to its appearance. He expanded the building, added a mezzanine, combined it with the manor building and created a stone annex, which was used as an office-workshop. Alexander Kuznetsov also designed the interiors himself in neoclassical and pseudo-Russian styles. Of interest is not only the house itself, but also its fence, facades and interior decoration, which have been recognized by experts as objects of cultural heritage of federal significance and are protected by the state. Alexander Kuznetsov's descendants continue to live in the mansion to this day.
