Birsky Historical Museum

In 1990, the museum was opened, which was a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2006, it became an independent cultural institution. A building dedicated to the museum was built in the city center, to which it was transferred in 2014. It has more than ten thousand titles. The museum presents the history, way of life and culture of one of the first cities of Bashkiria. The exhibits recreate the lifestyle typical of a provincial town. The museum has valuable documents from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
