The first building of the Samara CHEKA is the former mansion of Dr. Erich-Leonhard Gustavovich Ern. The two-storey building was built in 1900-1902. This landmark was previously the first Art Nouveau building in Samara. The most interesting part of the building is the part of the room coming out of the plane of the facade, which was located on the right side of the main facade, decorated with the coat of arms. On the left, the pediment is decorated with a curve. The building has huge framed windows.
