Samara Football Museum

The museum was opened in October 2007, it was located in a separate part of the sports lyceum. Since October 1, 2014, it has been located in the basement of the cultural heritage site. The museum has a unique design: it houses not only traditional exhibits, but also fragments of a football stadium, gates, artificial turf, and there are also installations on the theme of football. On November 5, 2009, the museum was recognized as a finalist winner of the Volga Region Cultural Hero of the Year Contest in the Discovery of the Year nomination. The expositions are dedicated to the Krylia Sovetov football club. Basically, many of the items for the exhibition were donated or given away by fans, veterans, coaches and team players. Among the exhibits you can see personal belongings, boots of honored masters of sports of the USSR, football jerseys.
