Vasiliev 's House
Detailed description
The house was built in 1890. Vasiliev is a resident of Samara, about whom nothing is known, which means that he did not do anything remarkable. However, the building, which was erected by his order, is of real value for the architectural heritage of the city. In Soviet times, it housed the Norwegian Embassy, which was temporarily evacuated to Samara during the Second World War. The building is made according to all the canons of the bright style of architecture – eclecticism.
