Memorial plaque to Vera Voloshina

In the city of Mytishchi, there is a memorial plaque to Vera Voloshina, which is located on a street named in her honor. She was born in 1919. She was a gymnast. She studied at the Institute of Physical Culture in Moscow. Since the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, she was enlisted in a military unit for reconnaissance. She performed all the tasks successfully. She died in the hands of the Germans in 1941. In 1994, Vera Danilovna Voloshina was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.
