Detailed description
The first residential building of the Leningrad City Council was built in 1934. The architects were E.A.Levinson and I.I.Fomin. The building consists of three ensembles, the central one has six floors, and the two side ones have five. The building is installed on a high basement terrace, which protects it from flooding. In addition to residential apartments, the building houses a kindergarten, a laundry, a hairdresser and shops. There are benches for relaxing on the high terraces in front of the entrance, and a fountain in front of the building.
