Church of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow, in Beskudnikov
Detailed description
The Church of St. Innocent has been under construction since 1996 on the initiative of the administration of the Northern District. The Orthodox church was installed on the territory of Dmitrievsky highway. The building was designed by architects A.V. Bormotov and V.I. Yakubeni. The church was built on the basis of the Holy Trinity Church in the Yershovo estate. A chapel in the name of Herman of Alaska was consecrated in the building. The stone temple was decorated with a six-columned portico and a triangular pediment. Semicircular apses are visible on the sides of the structure.
