Veshnyakov apartment house

The building was built in the early 20th century. It is very interesting to contemporaries, as it is connected with the famous writer Mikhail Bulgakov. It was here, on Patriarch's Ponds, that Woland, Berlioz and the poet Ivan Bezdomny met based on the novel "The Master and Margarita". The characters of the novel were sitting on a bench just in front of the main entrance of this house. Bulgakov and his wife often visited this house with their friends. The seance described in this novel also took place in this house.
