House on the embankment
Detailed description
The house on the embankment is a residential complex that was built in 1931 on the Bersenevskaya embankment of the Moskva River. It is a monument of architectural style - constructivism. Until 1952, it was the tallest residential building in Moscow. The house was known as the residence of the Soviet elite, who suffered from Stalin's repressions. It is worth noting that the building repeatedly appears in literary works, in particular, in the novel of the same name by Yuri Trifonov.
