One of the bridges spanning the Moskva River. The bridge connects Borovitskaya Square with Mokhovaya Street. The first bridge was built in the 1680s and was the largest construction project at that time. It reached a length of 150 meters and consisted entirely of stone. Shops were set up on the bridge, which disappeared in the 18th century. The bridge acquired its current appearance only in the 1930s.
