The apartment house of Konstantin Khristianovich Keldal
Detailed description
The large multi-storey building was built at that time by the very famous architect Vasily Schaub, and is executed in the Art Nouveau style. The house is crowned with curly towers, domes, tents and spires. In the front building, between the fourth and fifth floors, a fragment of a leaded stained glass window has been preserved. The fragment itself is made of glass in four shades of green, brown, dark red and dark blue. From 1923 to 1934, architect Vladimir Alekseevich Shchuko lived in this house, and his workshop was also located there.
