House of Afanasyev
Detailed description
The house was built in the first half of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was acquired by Pavel Pavlovich Afanasyev, a merchant who sold chemical products and was an honorary citizen. The house is two-storeyed, brick, the facade is finished with plaster, without unnecessary decorations. After the 1917 revolution, it was nationalized and used to house government offices.
