Epiphany Cathedral
Detailed description
The cathedral is a two-story tall building with two side chapels dedicated to St. Nicholas and Alexander Nevsky. The advantage of the Epiphany Cathedral was that it was heated, so services could be held even in winter. With the advent of Soviet power, the cathedral was closed in 1930. And since 1989, the Museum of Weapons has been located here. Before that, there was also an aero club and a physical education club here. During this period, the cathedral's appearance changed: only one of the five chapters remained, and a two-story building was added.
