Vasilyeva Women 's Gymnasium
Detailed description
The building was built in 1906. At that time, a new, spacious gymnasium building was erected on Pushkinskaya Street, adjacent to the Church of St. Panteleimon. The four-storey building on a stone foundation was built in a strict utilitarian "brick" style with neoclassical elements. The building has a parallelogram shape and an iron roof with four ramps. And because of the difficult terrain of the site, the main entrance is located at the second floor level and connects to the street with a small bridge under a semi-cylindrical canopy.
