The mansion of S.S. Gagarin - A.A. Polovtsov
Detailed description
The mansion belonged to the historian Alexander Polovtsov. The building was designed and built by Alexander Khristoforovich Pelya in 1857 on the basis of the building, which was owned by Prince Sergei Gagarin. Among the many mansions of that time, it was distinguished by the highest artistic interior decoration. After the revolution, since 1934, the building housed the Union of Architects of Russia.
