Residential building of the Krasnoe Sormovo plant

The building was built in the period from 1952 to 1954 according to the design of Nizhny Novgorod architect Lyudmila Rozhdestvenskaya. The house is distinguished by its arches and the sophistication of its decorative solutions, as well as its rational interior layout. The border between the arch, the lower and upper floors is made in the form of a garland. The stucco bas-reliefs of floral motifs stand out in a special way. In the architecture of the building, the main emphasis is placed on vases with vines, flowers and vignettes, which strongly contrast with the strict geometry of the arch, as well as openings and windows of the lower floors. It is a monument of urban planning and architecture.
