Detailed description
The house was built in 1836-1841. It was built for the manufacturer S.V.Morozov, who became the founder of the Morozov dynasty of merchants. The architecture of the building adheres to the forms of late classicism. Previously, the architectural ensemble included chambers of the 18th century. After the death of the building, the house passed to the granddaughter of Morozova E.A. After the revolution, an insurance office was located in the building. And since 2013, the State Literary Museum has been located here.
