The mansion of V.V. Pravdina

The mansion was built in 1908. Its owners, the Pravdin family, sold the house to merchant and racing driver Sergey Alexandrovich Kaptsov two years later. After the Revolution, the Credit Society and then the insurance Office of the Moscow District settled in this building. The filming of the film "The meeting place cannot be changed" was also carried out here. At the beginning of the 20th century, restoration was carried out, as a result of which many decorative elements were lost and the exterior of the house was distorted. The street art "Mir! Sports! Friendship!", dedicated to the Olympics.
