Detailed description

This neo-Gothic building is located on Granatnaya Street in Moscow. Designed by architect Adolf Erichson for Anna-Louise Lehmann, wife of Robert-Niels Karl Lehmann, hereditary honorary citizen of Moscow, it was donated to the Union of Soviet Architects in 1937, rebuilt in 1938-1941, and then included in the three buildings of the Central House of the Architect. It has been a part of Moscow's cultural heritage since 1992. In the period from 1938 to 1941, extensions were made to the Lehman mansion. The house closest to the mansion became the base one and was covered with a decorative facade from the side of the red lane line. The prototype was the frescoes by Piero della Francesca on the basilica in Arezzo. Since the middle of the 20th century, the building has been used as a restaurant. The interior of the villa has been completely preserved, and the building can be visited every year on Moscow Cultural Heritage Day.
