Merchant M.D. Mashtakov's house
Detailed description
The house was built in 1900 and belonged to Mikhail Dementievich Mashtakov, a Samara merchant. The architect of the project was A.A.Shcherbachev. The building is a two-storey wooden structure.The house is rectangular in shape with three risals and two entrances along the street facade. Since August 1911, the estate belonged to the merchant Nikolai Fedorovich Markov, who owned it until 1918. A communal apartment was equipped here, which was resettled in the 1990s, and in 2020 a new creative space, the Zavarka Museum-gallery, with a traditional "merchant" tea room and exhibition space, opened here.
