The water tower of the Mytishchi station of the XIX century
Detailed description
At the end of the 19th century, architects Lev Kekushev and Illarion Ivanov-Shits built a water tower for the Mytishchi Car Building Plant. This tower is an iconic landmark of the city of Mytishchi and is included in the list of cultural heritage sites of the Moscow region. She welcomes residents and guests of the city who arrive at Mytishchi station. The tower is currently not in use, but its original water tanks inside have been preserved and it is in good condition. The historical building in the pseudo-Russian style, built of red brick, is a monument of industrial architecture of the XIX century.
