The main house of the Golitsyn estate
Detailed description
The Golitsyn estate house is a 2-storey building of a light yellow shade of the 18th century, located in Moscow on the territory of the Central Administrative District, Krivokolenny Lane, 10. Now it is an architectural monument of federal significance. The main house was built in the 17th century, with two stone wings next to it. The house itself is located inside a complex with a harmonious layout. The first owner of the house was G. Levenwolde, then M. S. Chebyshev became the owner. His daughter inherited the house, who later married Prince P. F. Golitsyn. The Golitsyn family owned the building until the early 19th century. Throughout the history of the main Golitsyn house, the estate has been rented out for music schools, hospitals, and boarding houses. The house was expanded by additional buildings, but the exterior architecture and interior were not changed.
