The mansion of N.E. Paramonov
Detailed description
The neoclassical building was built for a book publisher, Paramonov. At the beginning of 1918, it was requisitioned and became the residence of the Revolutionary Committee, and later the headquarters of the Volunteer Army was organized in it, in the same year it caught fire and was restored only in 1923. Then the Architects' Club was located here. During the Great Patriotic War, the building was engulfed in flames, but rebuilt. Today, the library is located here.
