Kazan Embankment
Detailed description
This is a pedestrian street passing by the Tula Kremlin. It got its name from the church of the Kazan Mother of God, located near the western wall of the Kremlin and demolished in 1929. The street has existed since the 17th century, and even then famous merchants and merchants lived here. Since the 20th century, the street has become a favorite walking spot for residents thanks to the Kremlin Garden. After the demolition of the temple and the cessation of trade in the area, the place began to turn into a wasteland. In 2017, work began on the renovation of the street, and by 2018 it had already appeared to residents in an updated form.
