Shopping malls
Detailed description
The shopping malls were built in 1837-1841, according to the design of architect A. Dubrovsky. They were located on the territory of the Tula Kremlin and had forty-eight stone benches for the sale of food. There were rows along the Kremlin walls, from Odoevsky to Pyatnitsky gates and in the opposite direction. In 1863, the rows from the southwestern part of the Kremlin were demolished due to unsanitary conditions.
