Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Tula Kremlin
Detailed description
The Tula Kremlin is a monument of Russian defensive architecture of the XVI century, a fortress that will never yield to its enemies. Unlike many other similar structures, the Tula Kremlin was built not on top of a hill, but in a hollow. The Epiphany Cathedral and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary are located on its 6-hectare territory. The pearl in the crown of the Tula Kremlin is the bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral, which was renovated in 2014. Visitors to the Kremlin can take a pleasant walk along Bolshoy Kremlevsky Prospekt, where Tula's main street began in the 16th century. The museum is equipped with a ramp.
